Smash Burgers
A cookout isn't complete without this trendy favorite. These juicy patties are seasoned simply and cooked to perfection on the grill. Stack them high with your favorite toppings or keep it simple. Either way, they're a guaranteed hit!
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4 burger buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Divide beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Grill burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Smash flat with a metal spatula.
Toast buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, if desired.
Assemble burgers with preferred toppings and serve hot.
