Turn classic guacamole into a spooky Halloween centerpiece with this fun and festive Spider Web Guacamole. Creamy guac is topped with a sour cream “web” design and a little “spider” made from black olives for a creepy-cute party snack that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients (for about 6 servings):

  • 3 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup sour cream (for web)
  • 1–2 black olives (for spider decoration)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with lime juice until smooth but slightly chunky.
  2. Stir in onion, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix well and spread evenly into a shallow serving dish.
  3. Spoon sour cream into a small zip-top bag and snip off the corner. Pipe concentric circles over the guacamole.
  4. Use a toothpick to drag lines outward from the center, creating a spider web pattern.
  5. For the “spider,” slice one olive in half for the body and cut another olive into thin slivers for the legs. Arrange them on the web.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cover and chill until ready to serve.
