Once swirled together, it’s finished with a generous sprinkle of crushed mint candies for that festive peppermint crunch. Peppermint bark is perfect for gifting, snacking, or adding to a holiday dessert board—and it comes together in just minutes with only a handful of ingredients.
Ingredients (for 8–10 servings):
12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
12 oz white chocolate chips
½ tsp peppermint extract (optional, but recommended)
½ cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
Instructions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the semisweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 sec intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread into a thin, even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Chill for 10 min to set slightly.
Melt the white chocolate the same way. Stir in peppermint extract if using.
Pour the white chocolate over the set dark chocolate layer and gently spread to cover.
Immediately sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the top, pressing lightly so they stick.
