Turn Your SPaghetti Into Ramen With Baking Soda

Got Ramen cravings but no instant packets of noodles or fresh yakisoba in the fridge? No problem! If you've got spaghetti, then all you need is a bit of baking soda to turn this Italian specialty into a Japanese delicacy. Just make sure you have a rich, flavorful broth to plunge the bright, bouncy, chewy noodles into, and use 1 tablespoon of baking soda per quart of water. If the broth is light and weaker in flavor, then use only 2 teaspoons per quart of water. And don't leave the pot alone to do other things while cooking. You'll want to keep a good eye on the it so the baking soda doesn't concentrate.
