Roll/Knead Dough

Young children are tactile learners, so they can be sensitive to texture. Help them explore this by letting them roll or knead dough. It's fun to play with—and to eat (once cooked)! Teach them to use the rolling pin and watch their amazement as the dough grows larger and thinner.
