Dishes can really start to pile up during a party, and ceramic plates have a higher chance of being broken or chipped if you're carrying them around outside. The flimsy paper and plastic plates of your youth are no longer the only option. Now, there are plenty of sturdy, recycled (and recyclable) choices to make your life easier. Avoid foam, since not only is it bad for the environment, but it's also not suitable for hot foods.
