Not respecting place settings

No matter where you are in the world, most dining room tables follow some sort of place setting etiquette. It's usually as follows: forks to the left of the plate, knife and spoon to the right of the plate, glass in the top right-hand corner, and bread plate to the top left-hand corner. Apart from the fact that you'll be using the utensils, avoid rearranging everything else so no one gets confused about whose is whose.
