Matcha Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
Quick Lasagne

Fill a pot 3/4 full of water
- 1 whole jar of "store bought" pasta sauce
- 5-10 sheets of pasta
- Italian herbs
- block of mozzarella cheese
- FILLINGS:
- mushrooms
- beef or chicken
- spinach
- zucchini
Simple Cream Soup

Prepare you vegetables. Make broth by mixing water and bouillon powder
- 30 mL margarine
- 30 mL flour
- 200 mL milk
- 1 mL onion powder
- 1 mL salt
- f.g pepper
- 450 water
- 10 mL chicken or vegetable bouillon powder
- 1 med. potato, diced
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 1/2 stalk celery, diced
- 1 bay leaf
Egg Tart

1. Make oil dough first. Put flour in a large mixing bowl
- Water Dough:
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 egg, beaten
- 25 g sugar
- 13 g shortening
- 75 g cold water
- Oil Dough:
- 150 g cold butter
- 250 g shortening
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- Egg Filling:
- 80 g sugar
- 280 ml cold water
- 4 large eggs
- 80 ml half and half
Puff Pastry

Add the flour, sugar and salt to the bowl of a large food processor and pulse a few times to combine
- 3 cups (15 oz) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon ice water
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
How to Make Tangzhong & Chinese Soft Bread Recipe

This recipe makes enough tangzhong for two loaves of bread
- TANGZHONG RECIPE (enough to make two loafs):
- 50gm/ 1/3 cup bread flour
- 250ml/ 1cup water (could be replaced by milk, or 50/50 water and milk)
- BREAD RECIPE:
- 350gm/ 2½ cups bread flour
- 55gm/3tbsp+2tsp caster sugar
- 5gm/1tsp salt
- 56gm egg (equals to 1 large egg)
- 7gm/1tbsp+1tsp milk powder (to increase fragrance, optional)
- 125ml/ ½cup milk
- 120gm tangzhong (use half of the tangzhong you make from above)
- 5 to 6gm/2 tsp instant yeast
- 30gm/3tbsp butter (cut into small pieces, softened at room temperature)
Pineapple Bun Topping

To make the bread please refer to the tangzhong recipe
- 296 ml cake flour
- 58 ml of castor sugar
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 7 g milk powder
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp evaporated milk
- 1 tsp condensed milk
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
Matcha Latte

Bring enough water to a boil for the amount of servings you are making
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 3/4 cup plain almond milk or regular milk
- honey to taste

- 2 1/2 cups regular rolled oats
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1/4 cup steel-cut oats
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups fresh fruit (such as blueberries; peeled, cored, and chopped pears or apples; or chopped strawberries)
- Plain or vanilla low-fat yogurt or milk or cream
