  • 6 beautiful endive
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2/3 cups liquid cream

Preparation

Step 1

Remove the outer leaves first if they are not beautiful, then, to remove the bitterness, remove with a white cone at the root. Place the endives in water and then cut them diagonally to obtain thin slices well. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Step 2

In a skillet melt the butter gently, add the endives, stir, sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat one hour.

Step 3

Add the cream and heat without lid. Serve hot.

Method
