VIDEO: Leo DiCaprio's Online Documentary About Global Warming Will Give You Chills
It's called "Before the Flood," the new climate change documentary by Leonardo DiCaprio, in collaboration with National Geographic.
The famous actor was hired in 2014 as a UN messenger of peace on climate issues. It's a very important and prestigious role.
Since then Leonardo has traveled the world, seeking to gather information and witness the most urgent weather emergencies firsthand.
The result of this "world tour" is a documentary, about an hour and a half long, that aims to sensitize people on the need to become aware of the serious and real danger that we are currently running with regards to global climate change.
Its message is simple: We can no longer wait to reduce pollution and solve the consequential global warming problem.
We see DiCaprio during his meetings with presidents (including Obama) and important personalities. And we're also shown that there are indeed possible and immediate solutions that we could make in our world to make sure that the earth heals.
DiCaprio funded the project, but it was his desire to make the film free for online streaming. Watch the video below:
