Breakfast Biscuits

Breakfast biscuits are the best brunch companion, whether it's to slather them with butter, jam or honey, to use them for sandwiches, or to wipe your plate clean. And did you know you can make some with only three ingredients? Simply combine 2 cups self-rising flour with 1/4 cup cold butter in a food processor, and pulse until you get a nice, crumbly texture. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, and add 3/4 cup buttermilk. Stir until just combined. On a lightly floured surface, shape the dough into a ball, and roll it out until it's about 1.5 inches thick. Cut out the biscuits with a 2.5-inch biscuit cutter. Transfer the biscuits to a baking sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 450°F for 10 minutes until golden and fluffy.
