Spicy Garlic Pasta

Try this spicy spaghetti recipe and get maximum flavor with minimal ingredients! Bring together these pantry staples and whip up the dish up in less than 15 min. The mix of red chili flakes and lemon juice give a fresh and powerful kick, but you can stir in a little butter into your spaghetti if you're after some extra creaminess.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 7 oz. spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Handful of chives (chopped)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, cook the pasta until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, add olive oil over medium-heat. Add the garlic. Cook for 1min. before adding the chili flakes. Cook for a further 1/2 min.
  3. Immediately add the drained pasta, mix in the lemon juice, and sprinkle with the chives.
  4. Enjoy!

  • Cheddar

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
