Orange Creamsicles
When the ice cream truck came to the neighbourhood, these were gone in an instant! This treat is made by coating creamy vanilla ice cream with orange juice. The combination may sound a little, but it really is the most refreshing pick-me-up!
Why not try this recipe on August 14th as it’s National Creamsicle Day, of course!
Ingredients:
- 1 12 oz. frozen orange juice (concentrate works best)
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a blender on medium-low speed, mix the orange juice, milk, yogurt, sugar, and vanilla.
- Once the mixture is silky and crealy (it should be a peach color), pour into popsicle moulds and freeze for 5 hours or overnight.
- Enjoy!
