No Easter table feels complete without this timeless centerpiece: a spiral-sliced ham baked to perfection and brushed with a glossy glaze of brown sugar and mustard. The result is juicy, tender slices with a caramelized crust that’s equal parts sweet and savory.
Ingredients (for 10-12 servings):
1 fully cooked spiral-sliced ham (8–10 lb)
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
¼ tsp ground cloves (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F and place ham in a roasting pan lined with foil.
In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and cloves. Simmer over low heat until thickened, about 5 min.
Brush half the glaze over the ham, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 1 hour.
Uncover, brush with remaining glaze, and continue baking for 20–30 min. until the outside is golden and caramelized.
