Elegant yet incredibly easy, these crostini combine creamy goat cheese with a drizzle of honey for the perfect sweet-and-savory bite. Served on crisp toasted baguette slices and optionally finished with chopped walnuts for crunch, they’re ideal for a light Easter starter that feels fancy with minimal effort.

Ingredients (for 6–8 servings):

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 6 oz goat cheese (soft, fresh variety)
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or cream (for whipping)
  • 2–3 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling
  • ¼ c chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 min. until golden and crisp.
  2. In a bowl, mix goat cheese with milk or cream until smooth and spreadable. Add 1–2 tbsp of honey to lightly sweeten.
  3. Spread a generous layer of whipped goat cheese onto each toasted slice. Drizzle with honey and top with chopped walnuts, if using.
  4. Arrange on a platter and serve at room temperature.
