These no-cook bites strike the perfect balance between sweet and savory. Juicy cantaloupe wrapped in delicate slices of prosciutto creates a flavor combo that feels fancy but takes minutes to assemble. Serve them on toothpicks or skewers for an effortless, elegant starter that’s sure to disappear fast.
Ingredients (for 6–8 servings):
1 medium cantaloupe, balled or cubed (about 2–3 cups)
6–8 slices prosciutto, cut lengthwise into strips
Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish or layering)
Toothpicks or small cocktail skewers
Instructions:
Use a melon baller or a sharp knife to create bite-sized melon balls or cubes.
Cut each slice into 2–3 long strips.
Wrap one strip of prosciutto around each melon ball. If using basil, tuck a small leaf between the prosciutto and melon for a fresh herbal note. Secure with a toothpick or skewer.
Arrange on a serving platter and refrigerate until ready to serve. Best served chilled.
