Grilled Pound Cake

A quick toast on the grill turns store-bought pound cake into a warm, slightly crisp treat. Paired with macerated berries and whipped cream, this dessert is light, bright, and beautifully balanced. It's ideal for guests and easily scaled up for larger groups.

Ingredients (for 6 servings):

  • 6 slices pound cake
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • Butter for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Toss berries with sugar and let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill and lightly butter each slice of pound cake.
  3. Grill each side for 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. Top with berries and a generous scoop of whipped cream.
