Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • 1 clove garlic, halved
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 8 oz Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz Emmental cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Bread cubes, blanched vegetables, or apple slices for dipping

Instructions:

  2. Pour in the wine and lemon juice, then bring just to a simmer over medium heat.
