Rich and creamy almond butter gets coated in dark chocolate for a homemade version of a classic candy. Naturally sweetened and packed with healthy fats, these cups are every bit as satisfying as the original, with a grown-up twist.

Ingredients (for 12 cups):

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (60-70% cacao)
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Melt half the chocolate chips with coconut oil, then spoon a small amount into each liner. Chill until set.
  3. Mix almond butter with maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Add a small dollop on top of each chocolate base.
  4. Melt the remaining chocolate and pour it over the almond butter layer. Chill until firm.
  5. Store in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
