Rich and creamy almond butter gets coated in dark chocolate for a homemade version of a classic candy. Naturally sweetened and packed with healthy fats, these cups are every bit as satisfying as the original, with a grown-up twist.
Ingredients (for 12 cups):
1 cup dark chocolate chips (60-70% cacao)
1/2 cup almond butter
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
Melt half the chocolate chips with coconut oil, then spoon a small amount into each liner. Chill until set.
Mix almond butter with maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Add a small dollop on top of each chocolate base.
Melt the remaining chocolate and pour it over the almond butter layer. Chill until firm.
