Salted Chocolate CHip Cookie Baklava

Baklava is a popular Middle Eastern pastry made of flaky phyllo pastry and is usually filled with chopped nuts, syrup or honey. Topped with a homemade vanilla simple syrup and a bit of flaked sea salt, it's a fancier way to indulge in this modest dessert.
