Italian Meatballs

Combine the ground beef and ground pork
- 1/2 Ib ground beef
- 1/2 Ib groundpork
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 T finely chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup warm water
Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Heat oil in frying pan, add onion and cook on medium heat until the onions are translucent
- 2 T oil
- 1 large diced onion
- 14 oz can of tomato sauce
- 14 oz can of diced tomatoes
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 2 T minced garlic
- 2 T dried oregano
- 1 T Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 T sugar
- Pinche of Salt
Soft Pretzels

In bread machine pan, place the first four ingredients
- 1 cup plus 2 T water (70 - 80 degrees)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 T brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 quarts water
- 1/2 baking soda
- Course salt
One-Banana Banana Bread

You only need one large ripe banana to make this moist & delicious banana bread
- 1 large very ripe banana (or two small ones), mashed
- 1 egg with enough milk to make one cup liquid
- 1/2 cup butter/margarine, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- nuts (optional)
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Beat butter and sugars in large bowl until light and fluffy
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 14 oz chocolate candy coating
