Lemon filling cake

Bake white cake in a round cake pan and let cool and then cut in half
- Bake one white cake mix according to directions
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup boiling water
- 4 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream cheese frosting

Mary Jane's Cran-Horseradish Sauce Over Cream Cheese

Stir together all but the cream cheese in medium sauce pan
- 1 16 oz. can whole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 8 oz. container cream cheese
Turtle pumpkin pie

pour 1/4 cup caramel topping into crust, sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. caramel topping divided
- 1 honey maid graham pie crust (6oz.)
- 1/2 cup pecans 2 tbsp. planters pecan pieces (divided)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 pkg. (4 serving size each) Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tub (8oz.) cool whip
Zuni Cafe Zucchini Pickles

Wash and trim the zucchini
- 1 lb. zucchini
- 1 small yellow onion
- 2 tbsp. kosher salt
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1-1/2 tsp. crushed yellow or mustard seed
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
Pineapple-Cranberry relish

Drain syrup from pineapple
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1 lg. thin-skinned navel orange, unpeeled
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries, washed
- 1 c. sugar
Sun Dills

Wash cucumbers and put in jar
- 6-1/2 cups water
- 3-1/4 cups white vinegar
- 2/3 cup pickling salt (1/2 cup)
- 1/2 bud garlic (10-12 cloves)
- 1 small pinch alum (1/8 tsp.)
- 2 large sprigs fresh dill (may add more if desired. 4 sprigs fresh dill if small)
Yeast Rolls

Put water and yeast in large mixing bowl and add next 4 ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. softened butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3-1/2-4 cups flour
Sourdough Starter

Mix together let set stir once in awhile for the 1st hour
- 2-1/2 Cups sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. yeast
- 1 handful of rye or reg. white flour
- 2 qt. water warm
Sourdough Bread

Let rise briefly. Shaped in pans let rise till double and bake 350 for 30-35 minutes
- 1 cup sugar
- 2tsp.salt
- 4 tbsp. yeast
- 2 cups starter
- 7 cups warm water (hot if starter is cold)
- 1-1/2 cup oil
- 21-23 cups flour (bread flour)
Zucchini Corn Bread

put zucchini eggs milk butter and salt in blender
- 3 c. zucchini sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 sm. box corn bread mix (I use jiffy)
- dash of salt
