No, it's not sushi. You can eat that all you like.

Don't touch the crab legs

An anonymous buffet restaurant operator -we'll call them Buffet Boss- took to Reddit recently, fielding questions about the industry, safety and that eternal question, how they make their hot and sour soup taste so good.

When asked what food you should stay away from, Buffet Boss didn't hesitate to name crab legs, citing the fact that many unscrupulous restaurants serve expired, "bottom of the barrel" seafood without cooking them properly. Apparently cheese clams are just as bad: "if it is seafood covered in cheese, they are covering its expiration". Yikes.

Sushi on the other hand, is apparently quite safe to eat. It just might taste pretty bland, as most buffets have to cater to a wide range of tastes.
