Bee Pollen
This food trend first came onto our radar back in 2014 when Victoria Beckham tweeted about its youth-preserving benefits, but it seems to be really picking up speed as a supercharged health food found in açai bowls and sprinkled on toast. The small yellow clumps have a crunchy texture and a bittersweet flavor. While it does contain vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates and fatty acids, we're not totally convinced that it will open the fountain of youth, due to the lack of solid research. We are, however, willing to try it out.
Note: Don't eat it if you're allergic to bees, pollen or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. It's probably best to consult your doctor if you're unsure.
