Tuna Bolognese

This recipe is a life saver since you can use the stuff that's usually left over in the pantry — and it's delicious!

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 2 cups pasta
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large can of tuna
  • 1 large jar of tomato puree or arrabiata sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Grated cheese (to serve)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and sauté in a pan with olive oil.
  3. When it changes color, add the crumbled tuna, season with salt and pepper and cook for about 5 min.
  4. Pour the puree and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Serve a portion of pasta on each plate and cover with the sauce. Serve with cheese to taste.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
