French Omelet

If you're looking for a quick and easy dinner, this omelet is a winner! Best of all, you can add whatever you want depending on your taste. Here's how you make a simple cheese and tomato omelet:

Ingredients (for 1 person):

  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • A splash of milk
  • 1/2 cup cheese
  • A handful sliced tomatoes
  • A handful of parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, beat the eggs.
  2. Add a splash of milk and stir in.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add 1/2 tbsp butter to a pan on medium heat.
  5. Pour over the egg and milk mixture, and sprinkle in the cheese.
  6. Once the mixture begins to solidify, and turn a golden color, budge it around the edge with a spatula.
  7. Fold over the omelet and sprinkle over the parlsey.
  8. Serve on a plate and scatter the sliced tomatoes over. 
  9. Seaon and serve immediately.
