Recreate the experience of the iconic NYC Levain Bakery at home with their signature chocolate chip cookie—perfectly portioned for one. Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions:
