Roasted to golden perfection and tossed with a blend of smoky spices, they deliver big flavor with zero guilt. Perfect for munching straight from the bowl or sprinkling over salads and dips, this simple, no-fuss snack will be a game-day favorite. Whether you're grabbing a handful between plays or topping your favorite dip, these crispy chickpeas bring the perfect crunch to your Super Bowl spread!

Ingredients (for 4-6 servings):

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chickpeas completely dry with a paper towel—this step ensures maximum crispiness!
  3. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne (if using), salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 min., shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Let them cool slightly before serving—they’ll crisp up even more as they cool!
