Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are the ultimate no-fuss breakfast—simply mix oats, milk, and your favorite toppings the night before, and wake up to a delicious, nutritious meal that’s ready to eat. It’s perfect for adjusting to daylight savings when mornings feel a bit rushed.
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional, for added fiber)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ¼ cup fresh or frozen berries
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts or granola
Instructions:
- In a jar or container, combine oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, and sweetener. Stir well.
- Top with berries and nuts or granola.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
- In the morning, give it a stir and enjoy cold, or warm it up if preferred.
