9 Homemade Dinner Rolls and Buns That are Easier Than You Think

These tropical-inspired buns are subtly sweet and wonderfully soft. Pineapple juice gives them a unique flavor that pairs well with ham or pulled pork. They also work beautifully as mini sandwich rolls.

Ingredients (for 12 buns):

  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup warm milk

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add butter, eggs, juice, and milk.
  2. Knead into a smooth dough and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. Divide into 12 balls and place in a greased pan.
  4. Let rise 30 more minutes.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Cool and serve.
