Savory, sweet, and a little spicy, these quick bowls are inspired by Korean barbecue flavors. Ground beef is simmered in a soy-ginger sauce and served over rice with green onions and sesame seeds. A drizzle of sriracha takes it to the next level.

Ingredients (for 2-3 servings):

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Cooked rice, green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet and cook the beef until browned. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for 1 minute more.
  2. Stir in the soy sauce and brown sugar. Simmer for 3–4 min.
  3. Serve over rice with green onions and sesame seeds.
