Savory, sweet, and a little spicy, these quick bowls are inspired by Korean barbecue flavors. Ground beef is simmered in a soy-ginger sauce and served over rice with green onions and sesame seeds. A drizzle of sriracha takes it to the next level.
Ingredients (for 2-3 servings):
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 lb ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tsp grated ginger
Cooked rice, green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions:
Heat the sesame oil in a skillet and cook the beef until browned. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for 1 minute more.
Stir in the soy sauce and brown sugar. Simmer for 3–4 min.
Serve over rice with green onions and sesame seeds.
