To get your kitchen towels back into like-new condition, you'll need some liquid detergent (whatever you normally use), baking soda, and white vinegar.

Pour a bit of detergent in a pot, then add 2 tbsp of baking soda and a drizzle of oil and stir everything thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Now drop in the dish towels and roll them around in the mixture, swirling them around in circular movements so that they absorb as much of the product as possible.
