Don't be fooled by Masterpiece's modest location in a Duluth strip mall nor its presumptuous name. It's actually a rather humble hotspot for Sichuan food that's built a huge, local following thanks to its talented chef, Liu Ri. If you have the kind of masochistic appreciation for tongue-numbing spiciness but still enjoy the taste afterwards, then you have to give this place a try. Do pay attention to the number of chilies that denotes the heat factor of each dish because this is authentic spicy Sichuanese fare, and it is not for the weak. FYI: It's BYOB.
