If you need a little change from all that Creole and Cajun fare in NOLA, turn to this somewhat upscale Chinese-American fusion restaurant that puts some really delicious and creative twists on conventional Chinese take-out. The general's chicken is hiding some bourbon-infused soy sauce, while the beef and broccoli is made with braised brisket tossed in a smoked oyster sauce. Special mention for the crispy fried black eyed peas and mussels in coconut curry broth. The house cocktails are also a must!
