Chinese food certainly is unsurprisingly not the most popular cuisine in the state of New Mexico, which makes finding a decent sit-down place a bit of a challenge. Fortunately, there is Rising Star Chinese Eatery, which was a rising star in Albuquerque when it first opened and has since become locals' go-to spot for consistently good Americanized Chinese food. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Regulars especially appreciate the abundant portions, reasonable prices and lower levels of grease in the food.
