Soups

Although it's tempting to reheat soups in the microwave, this method can result in uneven heating and may cause ingredients to separate, especially for dairy-based soups. For best results, reheat leftover soup on the stove over low-medium heat, stirring frequently. Take it off the heat when it starts to simmer and before it starts boiling. If it's a broth-based soup, you may need to add a bit of liquid (extra water or broth) to replenish any that gets simmered off.
