Be Mindful When Serving Beer or Wine
This may come as a surprise to you, but not all beers and wines are vegan-friendly. This is because both types of alcohol are often refined with a product called isinglass, which is a type of fish-based gelatin, or they can even be filtered with bone char. To avoid any potential issues, ask your vegan guests ahead of time what they prefer to drink, or you could just ask everyone to bring their favorite beverages. Given that you're doing the cooking, it seems like a fair compromise.
