  • Chana (black gram) – 1.5 cups (soaked in water overnight)
  • Khaane wala soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) – 2 pinch (optional)

  • Mustard oil (or any vegetable oil) – 1 cup (whole of it will not be consumed)
  • For tadka
