- Basic Dough
- 2½ c all purpose flour
- 1 envelope rapid rise yeast
- ¾ t salt
- 1 c very warm water (between 120 and 130 degrees)
- Bread Stick Toppings
- 1 t salt
- 2 t rosemary, dried
- 1 t thyme, dried
- 2 T grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 T olive oil
- anything that sounds good to you.
Slow Cooker Leek & Potato Soup

Place the leeks, potatoes, carrots, celery, and garlic in the slow cooker pot
- 2 large leeks, washed, ends trimmed, thinly sliced
- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 3 carrots, washed and chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 to 6 cups vegetable broth, or enough to cover the vegetables
- croutons and fresh parsley for garnish
- heavy cream (optional)
Turkey Chowder

Place the turkey stock, potato, onion, salt and pepper into a large saucepan and bring to a boil

- 1 cup peeled and diced potato
- 2 teaspoons (or more to taste) minced onion
