This Woman Had Sex EVERY day for a YEAR... And It Changed Her Life
After three children, and years of struggling with feelings of insecurity and anxiety related to her body and sex, blogger Brittany Gibbons was feeling about as unsexy as she possibly could. But instead of hiding from her problems, she faced them head on, giving herself an difficult challenge: to have sex every day for one year.
The goal? To improve her self-confidence and regain the fulfilling sex life that she and her husband had been doing without for so long.
"I could not shut my insecurity off, and sex quickly became a really anxiety-inducing experience that went one of two ways" she wrote in her blog, Brittany, Herself.
Brittany would avoid her fears, making up a variety of excuses as to why she couldn't have sex, and even her husbands reassurance that he found her beautiful and desirable weren't enough to quiet her worries.
Brittany realized however, that the lack of sex and her insecurities were taking a serious toll on her marriage. Thus, the every-day-sex plan.

"Then the moments when we weren't having sex, due to work travel or sickness, I began to miss that connection. I really understood what intimacy meant, by the end, and sometimes, it has nothing to do with the intercourse, and everything to do with what happens around it"
The results she gained from her challenge not only improved their sex life but helped her to overcome here persistent body issues.
"My thighs and arms, things I've been so insecure about, now became sensual to me, and it's being reflected in all aspects of my life."
"And being able to be open and honest with my husband, and not embarrassed or anxious about being naked, was amazing, and he deserved that. We both did, really."
