Oregano: A Natural Remedy

Oregano is a powerful natural antibiotic, rich in vitamins and minerals. Its iron, potassium, calcium, and manganese contents give your immune system a much-needed boost! Some studies have also found evidence to suggest that oregano, a common staple in the Mediterranean diet,  may even prevent certain cancers.

But when it comes to alleviating symptoms of sinus infections or the common cold, here's one all-natural oregano remedy you can make at home.

The Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 tsp of organic honey
- 2.5 cups of water
- 4-6 tablespoons of fresh oregano leaves

Preparation:
- Chop oregano leaves 
- Boil leaves for 10 minutes
- Remove from heat and allow to cool
- Add honey before serving
