Kenya - Mandazi

Also known as Swahili buns, these fried donut-like treats are popular in Kenya as well as many other East African countries. Mandazi are super soft and fluffy, sometimes flavored with coconut milk and cardamom, and they frequently come in triangle shapes but can also be circular or oval-shaped. They may be dusted with powdered sugar for extra sweetness or served without. Either way, they're certainly a sweet breakfast food worth trying!
