The best of April on your plate: The first strawberries with fresh spinach, complemented by a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. This dish is not only tasty but also provides you with plenty of vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients (serves 4)
2 cups strawberries
5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
6 tbsp olive oil
8 cups spinach
1/2 cup feta cheese
4 tbsp walnuts
1 pinch sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Clean and halve the strawberries. Then prepare a dressing from balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper, and briefly marinate the strawberries in a bowl with the dressing.
In the meantime, wash the spinach, let it drain well, remove the tough stems, and tear into bite-sized pieces. Arrange on plates, crumble feta cheese over the spinach, chop walnuts, and distribute them on top.
Finally, add the strawberries and dressing over the salad and serve.
