This New Mexican restaurant has been praised as a culinary treasure by the state, and yet it remains a humble, traditional enterprise that began more than 50 years ago. Red hot chili peppers hang from the roof, providing an authentic atmosphere, coupled with strong adobe walls. The menu is filled with delicious treasures as well, including the carne adovada pequeña (pictured above), which is a house specialty made with marinated pork in a red chili sauce, served with posole and Spanish rice.
