Subjects were examined using polysomnography, an effective type of sleep study used in scientific research and diagnoses, as well as with questionnaires and other tests.

The results at the end were clear: those who drank cherry juice slept more, an average of 84 minutes more every night. Even more, their sleep quality was even better than that of their peers! The cherry juice helped reduce levels of chemicals harmful to rest cycles and encouraged longer, better nights' sleep.
