THE PILL AND WEIGHT GAIN?

So, do pills actually cause weight gain? The answer is, well, probably not.

Once again, the pill affects every woman differently. If you're experiencing severe side effects, you might want to consider changing medications. This might mean switching to another dosage or a different kind of contraceptive entirely (e.g. condoms, patches, or IUDs).

When the pill was first invented, it was one of the few forms of birth control available. Today, this is no longer the case. If your pills aren't working for you, you should always talk to your gynecologist to find the best option.
