This cafe has been open for a little more than a year in the Manayunk area of Philly and is worth visiting for the taste and quality of its coffee, if not only to appreciate the amount of effort its owners put into making the coffee taste right. Co-owner Dan Faehl, said that in order to reverse the acidity and saltiness of Philadelphia water, Pilgrim Roasters had to develop a special way of filtering the water. On top of that, they source their beans ethically and roast it in small batches for maximum flavor. Come here for a relaxed atmosphere and great coffee brews!
