Wear Appropriate Clothing
When you grill in the summertime, you wear significantly less clothing than you would in, say, March or April. When grilling in cooler months, make sure your clothes don't prevent you from moving freely—sometimes quick action can save dinner (and your health). Also, be sure not to wear anything that dangles over the flames. The only thing you should smell cooking is your food!
