Emmett Watson's Oyster Bar - Seattle, Washington
This down-home, local Seattle eatery was the city's first oyster bar, opened in 1979 by well-known local columnist Emmett Watson. It isn't the most hyped about, but that's what helps it retain a special "hole-in-the-wall" charm. Niched away in Pike Place Market, the restaurant sports old school vibes and offers a satisfying, well-rounded selection of both fresh and fried seafood.
