Doritos and Taco Bell Unveil New Partnership with Baja Fiery Mango Flavor
Taco Bell is known for its iconic partnerships with some of America’s favorite brands. The popular fast food chain is at it again with the perfect marriage between two brands under the massive PepsiCo umbrella—Mt. Dew and Doritos. The history among this classic cohort of brands runs deep with long-lasting ties. In 2004, Mt. Dew’s exclusive Baja Blast flavor was curated specifically for the fast food giant. Similarly, the Doritos Locos Taco made its debut in 2012, and is still a crowd favorite on the chain’s menu today.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Baja Blast, and there is no shortage of celebratory additions to the flavor's repertoire. Consumers can find the original flavor by the bottle for all of 2024, along with two new limited edition bottled flavors—Baja Laguna Lemonade and Baja Point Break Punch. Taco Bell even shared plans to bring a Baja Blast-inspired gelato to locations nationwide this summer.
To complete the trifecta of brand partnerships, Doritos is giving fans yet another way to celebrate the beloved flavor’s anniversary. On April 28th, 2024 an all-new Doritos Baja Fiery Mango flavor will hit the shelves of major retailers nationwide.
“Spice-packed and tangy, this limited-time flavor is another way the brand is showcasing its dedication to bringing unexpected flavor experiences to loyal Doritos fans," a Doritos spokesperson said.
“The team was particularly drawn to the mango habanero flavor combination, as it’s a proliferating flavor on menus and felt truer to Doritos brand and the flavor experiences Doritos consumers are seeking,” the spokesperson added.
The Doritos Baja Fiery Mango flavor is a collaboration with two decades worth of anticipation, and the brand-new flavor can be found in a variety of sizes to try for yourself or share with a group. It is already available in select stores, and once it hits shelves nationwide, Baja Blast connoisseurs can only celebrate the 20th anniversary with this punchy flavor for a limited time.
